October trip to Cox farm

In October, you, Momma, and Daddy went to Cox Farm for some autumn fun. The fun began with a hayride through the farm.

There were many sights and sounds on the hayride and Momma protected your ears when there were especially loud sounds.
You discovered hay on the ride and Momma let you play with it as long as you didn't try to eat it!

Your facial expression reflects your impression from the talking farmer along the way.

The hayride included going through a barn complete with flashing lights.

You had a grand time playing with all of the pumpkins. And you can stand supported now. And yes, you did try to eat one of the pumpkins!

There were lots of animals to see on the farm.

And really big pumpkin signs!

The fun day ended with what seemed to be your favorite--a fresh apple. You had had cooked apples with the food that Momma made and you were anxious to eat the real thing with your new teeth. You did a great job one the apple with help from Momma. The day had become warm so you had shed your tractor shirt.

We now know that you have some significant food allergies with the main allergies being to milk, eggs, and the worst--peanuts. Wherever you go, an epi goes with you in case of a severe reaction. Momma continues to make most of your food and is now pureeing it less and you now enjoy 'chunks' of cooked apple, sweet potatoe, squash, pears, peaches, and mango. You enjoy rolling the chunks around in your mouth and using your teeth and gums to break it down. You are now enjoying meats--primarily turkey and chicken. You enjoy eating and laugh much during your meals with dinosaur sounds thrown in episodically.
I love you very much baby bug, Grandma
